Recruiting/Onboarding
Our Process: Built Around You
At GO-HR, we don’t believe in cookie-cutter recruiting. Every business is different—so every recruiting strategy should be too. Whether you need full-cycle support or just help with a few key steps, we tailor our process to fit your goals, your culture, and your budget.
Unlike traditional recruiters who chase commissions based on a percentage of a candidate’s salary, we focus on alignment—not payouts. Our fee structure is transparent and flexible, often coming in well below the cost of conventional recruiting firms. That means you get a partner who’s invested in your success, not just the size of your next hire’s paycheck.
We handle everything from job description development and candidate sourcing to behavioral interviews, assessments, and onboarding. We’re not just recruiters—we’re HR professionals with decades of experience, using proven strategies to match candidates to roles, reduce turnover, and boost performance.
Need background checks, reference calls, or social media scans? We’ve got that covered too—with a thoughtful, compliant approach that helps you make informed hiring decisions.
Our recruiting process includes:
- Position description development
- Posting announcement on several job aggregators (including indeed.com, simplyhired.com, etc.)
- Actively sourcing for candidates to complement the job posting process
- Sorting applicants against the job description
- Screening candidates through a variety of methods, depending on employer preference
- Facilitation of any assessments
- Initial interviewing based on behavioral questions
- Coordination of client company interviews
- Training/coaching to client company on conducting candidate interviews

- Assistance with the offer process
- Support with onboarding and orientation, including development of these programs
- Weekly updates on recruiting activity to the client company
- Release of candidates post-selection
Pre-employment checks
Congratulations!
You have made your hiring decision, what’s next?
We can help you with pre-employment, post-offer checks, including background checks, reference checks, and social media scans.
Regardless of the size of your workforce, we’re here to help you with your due diligence when it comes to bringing on your next hire. And if we find something that is concerning, we’ll help you evaluate your options, including reviewing our findings with the candidate and any next.
Background checks include:
- Nationwide Criminal Search
- Statewide Criminal Searches
- Criminal County Searches
- Federal Criminal Records
- National Sex Offender Search
- Motor Vehicle Records
- Credit Reports
- Social Security Validation
- Address History Search
- Employment Verification
Reference checks are tailored to the position, employer, candidate, and any issues surfaced during the interview process. We’ll make the calls for you and help you develop on-boarding, performance, and coaching strategies based on what we learn.
Social media checks include a scan of the Internet, as well as major social media sites, and then work with you to understand which information is worth responding to, and which can (and should) be chalked up to a candidate’s personal business.
Orientation/On-Boarding
A solid, comprehensive orientation not only provides a positive beginning to an employee’s new working relationship with your company, it establishes the impression an employee will have of your company from day one.
Employee engagement is at a worldwide low and poor engagement contributes to high turnover, reduced productivity, and sliding profits. Solid new employee orientation and longer-term on-boarding have been shown to increase employee engagement and ensure that your new employees are performing better faster.
We will work with you to discuss orientation and on-boarding processes and experiences that will help your new team members engage at a higher level. These processes aren’t just for the employees, though. Well-planned orientation and on-boarding programs also help you set expectations, get to know your employee, share your culture and values, and deepen the connections within your organization. All of this may seem time consuming, but study after study reinforces that doing these right directly contribute to your bottom line.
